Privacy Policy

1. About The Download Store
The Download Store is an independently operated digital-products business based in the United States. Our public information website is the-download-store.netlify.app. We offer printable and downloadable products through our Payhip storefront.
This policy describes our handling of information in connection with our own website and business operations. Separate websites and services, including Payhip and Pinterest, also have their own privacy practices.
2. Information involved
- Website visits: Our website's hosting provider may process standard technical request information such as IP address, browser details, page requests, and approximate timing to deliver and protect the site.
- Email signup (optional): Our free-checklist signup form asks for your name and email address. We use this to deliver the free checklist link and occasional store updates about new products. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We do not sell your contact information.
- Purchases: Checkout takes place on Payhip, not directly on this website. Payhip and the payment processor collect the information needed to complete purchases. As the seller, we may receive order details such as the purchaser's name, email address, product ordered, purchase date, and transaction status so we can provide support and maintain business records.
- Messages: If you contact us about an order or a privacy question, we may receive the details you choose to provide and keep the correspondence needed to respond.
We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers through this static website.
3. How we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to operate the store, answer inquiries, support customers and digital deliveries, keep relevant financial and transaction records, prevent misuse, maintain site security, and meet legal obligations. We may review aggregate store or marketing performance where available.
Purchasing a download does not, by itself, mean that you have consented to receive promotional emails from us. The free-checklist email signup is a separate, optional opt-in. Any marketing messages will follow applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
4. Services involved
We rely on service providers for essential operations:
- Netlify hosts and delivers our public website and processes our email-signup form submissions. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
- Payhip hosts product listings and handles checkout and digital-file delivery. See Payhip's Privacy Policy.
- Payment processors, including Stripe where used, process payments on Payhip's checkout pages under their applicable policies. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Pinterest provides our business social-media presence. See Pinterest's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell customer contact information or order records. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a legitimate business transition with appropriate safeguards.
6. Pinterest and AI-assisted marketing
We maintain a Pinterest business profile to share information about our products. If we activate an authorized Pinterest integration, it may access our own business account's Pins, boards, and relevant performance information only for approved activities such as preparing, publishing, scheduling, or evaluating promotional Pins.
We may use AI-assisted business services, including Muse by Meta AI, to draft product and marketing material or assist with approved business workflows. Information provided to such services is subject to the applicable service's terms and privacy policy. We do not use Pinterest account data to sell customer profiles or to train our own AI models.
Any Pinterest API integration will be used only after the necessary permissions and approvals are in place. This policy does not mean that an integration has already been activated.
7. Data retention and security
We retain business communications and purchase records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain business records, comply with legal requirements, or resolve disputes. Third-party providers maintain their own retention and security practices.
We use established services to host the website and handle payment processing and seek to limit access to information to what is needed. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we control, subject to legal obligations. You may also object to or limit certain uses where applicable.
Contact us using the method below for requests relating to our business records. For data held directly by Payhip, Stripe, Pinterest, or Netlify, you may also need to contact the relevant provider. You can control many cookies through your browser and manage platform-specific settings with those services.
9. Children's privacy
Our store is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect information directly from children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe such information has been submitted to us, please contact us.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our store, technology providers, or applicable requirements. We will post the revised version here and update the date at the top of the page.
